In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations are essential to Foster360. They remind our members that people care and they help us focus on the day to day tasks. Check out a few ways you can provide the basics for our members. Please plan to deliver any in-kind donations to us.
Welcome Basket
When members arrive at Foster360, they may have few or limited belongings. We like to welcome them with a basket to, literally, welcome them on their new journey. Welcome Baskets include a set of matching towels with washcloths, a set of twin sheets, toothbrush & toothpaste, body wash, first aid kit, lotion and a brush & comb - all placed in a laundry basket. You’re welcome to add a little extra like a decorative candle or journal! We do ask that all items be new.
Clothing And Shoes
If you are cleaning out your closet, please think of donating your gently used clothing and shoes to our partner organization, Helen’s Hope Chest. Our members are able to access Helen’s Hope Chest and get the necessary clothing they need. Helen’s accepts clothing for children, teens and young adults, as well as, accessories and purses. We are also always in need of new men’s and women’s underwear and bras – all sizes.
Keeping Clean!
Our members are tasked with keeping their unit clean on a regular basis. Donations of paper towels, cleaning supplies, air fresheners, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and toilet paper are greatly appreciated.
Gift Cards
The donation of gift cards of any denomination allows us to purchase items for our members as needed. Donated gift cards are also used for basics like food, transportation, cleaning supplies, bedding and birthday/holiday gifts.
Moving Up And Out!
Transitioning out of Foster360 can be exciting...and scary. To ease the transition for members who are ready to move out on their own, having a few extras is helpful, and decreases the financial stress. When a member is ready to move, we like to provide them with a moving out gift. This includes a set of plates, cups, silverware, kitchen items, shower curtain, trash can, pots and pans, toaster and broom/dustpan.
